Built into the side of Bath’s historic Cleveland Bridge, looking out over the River Avon, this Regency property offers guests a truly unique experience.
Originally a toll house, dating from 1827, the two-bedroom city centre property is built over three floors. The interior has been beautifully refurbished to provide comfort and convenience while preserving its traditional charm.
The house has a garden sloping down to the water’s edge which boasts a terrace and summerhouse perfect for al fresco meals or evening drinks. The ground-floor kitchen dining room’s large French windows open out onto the terrace creating a feeling of light and space. The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, microwave, fan oven, dishwasher and washer-drier, with a dining table and dining sets for up to six people.
Above the kitchen is the master-bedroom with a super-king size bed that can be split into two twins and ensuite bathroom. Next door is a second bedroom with double bed. On the third floor is a cosy living room with a 42-inch TV and an extra wall double bed which can be laid out to accommodate two more guests.
