Situated on Loch Promenade right in the heart of Douglas on the lovely Isle of Man, Live and Work hotels have introduced a new concept for the Isle of Man - The Town House. A self -catering option, but with many, many more benefits. Whether its work or play, the Town House brings new meaning to the phrase 'a real home from home'. The aim here is to get to know the customer well; the more stays you have, the better your Town House experience will be, with services configured specifically to meet your requirements.

This landmark Victorian 3 storey promenade house has been transformed into something new, different, desirable, yet practical, and yes it does have a lift. The 15 individually designed and appointed apart-suites are available from as little as £84 per night (or heavily discounted for long stays), providing outstanding value. Breakfast and evening meals can be self- catered, or enjoy a truly unique dining experience at the neighbouring Coast Bar & Brasserie, a renowned first-class dining experience.

The Apartsuites are individually designed and appointed, beautifully furnished and equipped with the latest technology. But what makes the Town House different is the ability to make your apart-suite your own, for the duration of your stay. Luxury comes as standard with the kind of details you'd expect from its founders, having spent years experiencing international business living from your perspective. Their no-nuisance room maintenance allows you to specify how often sheets are changed and when your room is cleaned.

All of the accommodation comes with a 40 inch flat screen television that you can link directly to your laptop. Each room has its own dedicated Sky TV box with full access to all Sky Sports and Sky Movies, free of annoying extra charges. We don't believe you should you have to pay extra for wi-fi internet access or telephone calls. At the Town House they are completely free all day, every day. You select the room you prefer and your preference welcome pack will be there on arrival. Whether its soya milk and shreddies, fresh fruit and vanilla yoghurt or marmite and thick cut bread.

The hotel is a 20 - 30 minute drive from the Airport. There is a bus service that stops very close to the Hotel. It's about a 5 minute walk from the Sea Terminal. Unfortunately, there is no parking dedicated to our building, however there is free 2 hour parking in front of the hotel. Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm, you will need a parking disc for this, which we can provide you with. It is however, unrestricted outside these hours, so you can leave your car right outside in the evening and on Sunday. There are also several car parks within easy walking distance.

The focus at the Town House is quality at a fair price, wifi is free and so are telephone calls to land lines worldwide. The Town House anticipates the new 24/7 world of the international business person, where chic meets technology, you meet your clients, and we meet your needs.

7 days cancellation policy 

  • 7 days’ notice is required to cancel your booking prior to arrival.
  • This is for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges
  • For guest in house 7 days’ notice is required to shorten or extend their stay/booking
  • Example: If a guest is checking in on the 17th September then gives notice on the 12th September, then 6 days’ notice has been given and a charge for 1 nights will be applied.
  • All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email.
  • Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
