The Stay Company Friar Gate is located just a 5 minute walk from Derby City Centre at 62-64 Friar Gate, Derby where a number of the city’s best bars, cafes and restaurants can be found.

These wonderful Grade II Listed Georgian buildings had previously been used as office blocks prior to the major renovation work to convert them into serviced apartments that started in 2016 and was fully completed in the summer of 2017.

The Stay Company wanted to provide beautiful, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished apartments that offered a real alternative from having to stay in hotels. Along with our tastefully refurbished properties, our staff work tirelessly to get your stay right from the moment you arrive.

Many of our team have experienced working away from home at some point during their careers and can empathise with what it’s like to be in an unfamiliar place. With this in mind, our guests comfort, security and satisfaction were the top priorities that we had in mind whilst designing our serviced apartment offering.

7 days cancellation policy 

  • 7 days’ notice is required to cancel your booking prior to arrival.
  • This is for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges
  • For guest in house 7 days’ notice is required to shorten or extend their stay/booking
  • Example: If a guest is checking in on the 17th September then gives notice on the 12th September, then 6 days’ notice has been given and a charge for 1 nights will be applied.
  • All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email.
  • Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
