At 1840 Serviced Apartments, we offer apartments with services for monthly stay. We want our guests to live an open and bright experience like Barcelona itself, always taking care of even the smallest detail.
Our apartments, built in 1840, are full of history. Recently renovated and fully furnished, they maintain their original design line and will make you travel back in time in one of the best areas of Barcelona: in the Port Vell of the city, just 10 minutes walking from the Gothic Quarter or Born.
Our history:
In 1840 the family of the current owners, originally from Sitges, returned from Cuba after having built a large banking business. When they returned to Barcelona, they wanted to build a building in the best possible location, with a style similar to that experienced in Cuba, near the sea, to reside and locate their business, a bank.
Since then, this building has belonged to the Vidal-Quadras family and has been very connected to the city of Barcelona. The first photograph of the city is of this building and Pablo Picasso lived there when he first arrived in Barcelona.
Currently, in this building, we make our apartments the home of our guests just as if we left our own home. We offer the closest proximity, warmth and all possible comforts, preparing the apartments personally for them. That's why our concept is "Our home is your home".
